Hall Plant a very innovative plant hirer based in Chesterfield report only good news for their PlantSafe system introduced some 18 months ago. PlantSafe is simply as it sounds, a lockable reinforced steel strongbox. Plant items ranging from a single JCB 3CX to multiples of smaller items i.e. a Mini Excavator, Dumper and Roller together can be stored and securely, and the PlantSafe unit complete with hire items inside can be delivered to hirers as a complete package.It provides a safe secure resource to any hirers on site and at the same time addresses the demands of insurance firms to protect assets.

Hall Plant Hire's experience has shown the system eliminates vandalism and makes a significant difference to the problem of plant theft. One major customer has seen the number of thefts fall from 48 Units 2003, to just one unit in 2004, the unit stolen was of course not housed in a PlantSafe. Therefore the system at present has a 100% success rate.
